Abstract

This study examines the problem of "Management Boarding School In Increasing Student Achievement". The core study focused on the implementation of management execution boarding school in improving student achievement that includes planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring / evaluation, the inhibiting factors management boarding school in improving student achievement and efforts to overcome management barriers boarding school in improving student achievement in Senior High School Bogor. The purpose of this study was to obtain a picture, identify and analyze the management of the boarding school in improving student achievement, ranging from the implementation of management execution boarding school includes planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring / evaluation, the inhibiting factors management boarding school in improving learning achievement students and efforts to overcome management barriers boarding school in improving student achievement in high school Dwiwarna Bogor. The method used in this research is descriptive method, and the location of this research SMA Dwiwarna Bogor. As for the informant in this research subject is the principal, the teachers, the school committee and the board of trustees of Islam Dwiwarna Bogor. In the study found: (1) Implementation of management high school boarding school in Bogor. oriented management functions are directed to the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programs Boarding School; (2) The learning achievement of students boarding school in SMA Dwiwarna Bogor gained since its inception are very diverse not only at the national level and even up to the international level and has been proven to successfully enter / pass the college entrance examination tnggi public and private favorites either through the invitation / PMDK, SPMB / SMPTN Test and self exams and Higher Education Affairs Nege; (3) Factors that become obstacles / difficulties of management problems boarding school in improving student learning outcomes in high school Dwiwarna Bogor which occurred because some students have not been able to apply the values ​​of characters in everyday life and the lack of commitment of teachers in implementing the tasks and some teachers still lack the discipline of time; (4) Efforts to overcome management barriers boarding school in improving student achievement in high school Dwiwarna Bogor done through guidance and direction to students and provide role models in applying the values ​​of character. Another effort is to improve communication between all citizens and build unity in implementing the commitments boarding school program and increased supervision of learning activities on an ongoing basis.
