Abstract

The title of this thesis is "Open Junior as One Alternative in Improving the Motivation of Community Learning in Bojongpicung District". The problems that learners include: 1) Planning Open Junior as One Alternative in Improving the Motivation of Community Learning in District Bojongpicung, 2) Implementation of Open Junior High School as One Alternative in Increasing Motivation Learning Community in District Bojongpicung, 3) Evaluation of Open Junior High School as One Alternative in Improving Motivation of Community Learning in District Bojongpicung and 4) Supporting Factor and Inhibitor of Open Junior High School as One Alternative in Improving Learning Motivation of Community in District Bojongpicung. The purpose of this study is to know the planning of Open Junior High School as an Alternative in Improving the Motivation of Community Learning in Bojongpicung Subdistrict, to know the implementation of Open Junior High School as One Alternative in Improving the Motivation of Community Learning in Bojongpicung Subdistrict, to know the evaluation of Open Junior High School as One Alternative in Improving the Motivation of Community Learning in Bojongpicung Subdistrict, and to know the supporting factors and obstacles of Open Junior High School as One of the Alternatives in Improving the Motivation of Community Learning in Bojongpicung Subdistrict. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method, because this study aims to get a deep picture. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation. The main instruments are observation guides, interview guides, and documentation. Data were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Technique of examination of data validity by triangulation of source and technique. The results of this study indicate that open junior high school as One Alternative in Improving the Motivation of Community Learning in Bojongpicung Subdistrict with the approach of education management, that is planning, implementation, and evaluation generally run according to independent learning program. However in the planning of every selflearning program there is no planning the lack of facilities and infrastructure so that the limitations in the learning and the rarity of supervisor teachers come to school because of the many teaching hours in their homebase school. Despite the many obstacles encountered but did not ignite the spirit of student learning and teacher performance in educating because it has been given motivation to learn. Open junior high school is a very good program from the government to implement the 9-year compulsory education program. The government should be more motivating and supportive of the funding system for open junior high school to have better facilities and infrastructure to support the learning of open junior high school students.
